Anne Siegel is an experienced journalist and filmmaker who has worked for international public media companies around the world. During the Second Intifada, she worked as a correspondent in the Palestinian territories. She later lived in San Francisco for several years, crossed the Atlantic on a  sailboat, taught film in Panama City for a few years and later became a press spokesperson for the Nobel Women's Initiative in Ottawa, Canada.

When her first book was published twelve years ago, she became an instant success as a writer. In addition to her literary appearances, Anne regularly delivers keynote speeches.

Her last two publications were SPIEGEL Bestsellers. Her exciting biographies and novels deal with unsolved stories, which the writer and enthusiastic radio broadcaster gives new twists and turns. Her narrative nonfiction books are also entertaining and gripping. Her latest book, Wo die wilden Frauen wohnen (Where the Wild Women Live), exemplifies what runs through the bestselling author's books like a common thread: Confidence! That was also the topic she chose for her TED Talk in 2022.

The follow-up to the "Wild Women" has recently been published:

WO ISLANDS WILDE SEELE WOHNT - where Iceland's Wild Soul Lives.

Or as Anne's publisher so beautifully puts it:

"Siegel! Now with men, too!"
